My whole life, I have always felt a calling to do something more, I have always been driven. Here is a little history on my life...
I grew up in a small town in Buckeye, Arizona. It was a good place to grow up, a place where everyone knows everyone. My parents, both teachers, worked at my high school, I played sports, was in multiple organization, and enjoyed going to church with my friends and family. I made life-long friends there and met the love of my life, who is now my husband. It was not always cupcakes and roses but I made the best of it. I am grateful for the upbringing I had.
Like I said I am driven... let me take you back to third grade. In third grade we wrote down what we wanted to be when we grow up, funny questions for a third grader, regardless I wrote "I want to be an electrical engineer". I was fortunate to have an Uncle who was one and he did well financially and enjoys his life. I knew I wanted to be able to support myself financially. My parents were teachers in Arizona, need I say more? I am also good at math and science so it seemed like a perfect fit. Fast-forward to college where I earned a full ride scholarship to Arizona State University, good thing because there was not a college savings :). I earned my degree in Electrical Engineering, one of 6 women out of 70 graduates. After graduation I went out into corporate America. My career took me to Austin Tx, then San Jose California where my boyfriend asked me to marry him, he along with all of my family were in Arizona so I moved home. I have been working in the Semiconductor Industry in Arizona ever since. In 2010 we got married and have been blessed with three beautiful children. I love being their mommy!
I firmly believe I am so blessed, so fortunate, and that God has given us so much to be grateful for.
